The GenMAAX Super-High-Output alternator is all you need to survive. It covers all the energy needs on your boat and turns your alternator into a powerful energy generator.
By removing the rectifier out of the alternator and replacing it six feet away attached to a large heatsink that has a cooling fan attached you substantially reduce the heat issue associated with higher output alternators. Removing the internal rectifier also increases the airflow around the stator/rotor.
The GenMAAX Marine Alternator line is a totally new concept developed at our plant. These small and powerful high-performance alternators have frames manufactured on our CNC machines in our Canadian plant using 6061 aluminum.
The GenMAAX Super-High-Output alternator is available in 215 Amp and 250 Amp 12V output. The 250 AMP 12 v and the 165 amp 24 v are both remote rectified plus.
All ElectroMaax Cruiser, High-Output Marine Alternators are 99% plug and play when combined with our E-MAAX Smart, Pro X External Regulator, which minimizes rewiring and ensures you’re now charging at the most efficient level possible.
The Cruiser compliments solar and wind power enough on small vessels and eliminates the need for back up gas gensets. The Cruiser range comes in four mounts, saddle 3.15″ (Yanmar), 2.3/8″ saddle plus 1″ and 2″ foot mount.
The smallest creates 70AMPS at idle (100AMP) and tops out at 100AMP. There are also 120, 140 and 160 AMP versions available.
We also suggest you convert your engine to multi groove (serpentine) which will allow amperages in excess of 100 AMP, eliminate belt dust, and quite down your engine.
The Cruiser line is designed for the recreational cruiser; it is a small case – 100 to 160 Amp which is an ideal option for replacing your original manufactured alternator.
