Big Winters

The local Winter Springs have moved to the Five Finger Island/Hudson Rock area. They have been fattening up, and there are some fairly large ones out there right now. Local High-liner Black Jack caught a 18 pound Chinook at only 75 ft near Hudson Rocks. Several other nice fish in the 15 pound range also came from the same area. Jack was using a custom Gold-star spoon that he designed and we had made. Not surprisingly it's called Black Jack. It's not on our website yet, so ask for it by name. Only the Harbour Chandler currently has it. I haven't heard much from Pollier Pass or Tent Island area, so if you have a recent report from that area please email me. Our Snot Rocket hootchie is still working well, paired with Salty Dawg flashers. I also like glow cop car spoons with double glow white flashers a this time of year.
