Fall Springs
2018 Sep 17th
The summer season is warping up and the rivers are starting to fill up with water. But for a while yet there are is still good fishing to be had.
While some of the Springs have darkened up, it looks like a batch of fresh chrome ones have showed up around 5-Finger Island. There are large mature fish, hanging out around underwater structure. Try trolling close to the bottom, or jigging the bait-balls.
There are lots of Coho, but as always they more location from day to day. I've been hearing good success with Ace-Hi Flys in UV purple and blue.
The Sockey fishing off the Fraser River is excellent this year. If you feel like running across you should get your limit. Of course pink squirt hootchies for them, or googly eye bugs, or even pink spoons.
Here in the store we are getting ready for our customer appreciation sale and BBQ on Saturday 22nd. 20% off regular items, and 75-90% off clearance items. Hope to see everybody there.
Tips up, Steve Vavrik
