Herring Spawning

Just a heads up to all my fellow herring jiggers, the spawn has started. As often is the case they are hitting the spawning beaches with the foul weather that's blowing in.The commercial boats are fishing off deep Bay and French Creek. The guys casting from shore in French Creek are doing well. Nothing South of Nanoose yet. So get your rain gear and your herring jigs or nets (we have both in stock) and hit the beach to load up. Or just come down to watch the seal ions, eagles and fisherman. Tips up, Stephen Vavrik
