It's not a regular varnish and it's not like Schooner. Developed to apply and perform like a professional varnish, Schooner Gold has a VERY high viscosity, giving it a very thick appearance in the can. This is deliberate. Schooner Gold has an incredible film build to fill wood grain faster & ultimately provide a cohesive high gloss finish that outlasts most varnishes. Thinning: Customize Schooner Gold prior to application based on ambient temperature, environment and personal preference using Brushing Liquid 333 or Spray Thinner 216 from Interlux. • High build formulation with excellent self-leveling qualities gives a full gloss finish with the depth and look of an 8-12 coat system, at only half the number of coats
• Advanced UV technology combines traditional and modern resins. Gloss retention out performs other leading varnish products; exceptional deep gloss and color are sustained over the lifetime of the coating
• Incorporates UV-absorbers and HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizers) which dissipate heat and protect the coating from free radicals, avoiding premature degradation and further extending the lifespan of the coating
• Also suitable for spray application for the ultimate finish and flow
